My literary journey began in 1974 with a theater play for my sister's birthday party. I had 3 of my stories published in 1988. In 1990, my dramaturgy for the Forestry Theater of Rio de Janeiro was granted a City Council honorable motion. Then marriage, a 10 year silence. While my creative writing earned no money, I agreed it had no reason to exist. I'd restart in secrecy, afraid to be caught in the act. Now I know that I must write to survive, for "there's no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you", said Maya Angelou. Videopoem To whom it may concern combines Forestry cultures & Self-image, recurrent themes in my writing. It does as well showcase a rather shameless ESL poetic freedom.
